"do NOT mistake my kindness with weakness" - a very appropriate statement and unfortunately a common shortcoming of the insecure and self-absorbed masses, not sure where I heard it first or I would quote the source OK, I'll offer a bit of introspection...I am usually friendly and cordial, yet I speak frankly rather than placate and almost never suffer to appease. I recognize and appreciate beauty, strength, originality, talent, style and intellect. I would prefer to be alone than in the company of those not endowed with these characteristics. I am very critical of myself, but I would still rather be me than somebody else. I admire strength of will grounded by compassion and kindness. I sense the world around me in many dimensions. No words or promises secure a higher authority of truth than that which I perceive naturally. Everything that can be communicated to me verbally can be more credibly communicated otherwise. Criticism tainted by hypocrisy disgusts and repels me. Underestimate me to your own loss. I will be disappointed, but only because I have allowed myself to be. I often have a tendency to overestimate others, especially if I care about them. I realize that this has high odds, but I consider it a worthy wager. I do not believe in regret. I am very jaded. Social politics annoy me. I can sense people and I have a highly intuitive nature. Despite anything I may sense, however, I do believe there is some good in everyone and everything. We are all one spirit. There are no accidents. Everything happens for a reason. Free Your Mind.
